يعلن نادي خريجي اليوبيل عن إطلاق باكورة نشاطاته للعام 2008 بمبادرة إجتماعية تطوعية جماعية لأعضاء النادي تهدف إلى زيادة الاهتمام بالقراءة و الثقافة في القرى النائية في الأردن من خلال تأسيس مجموعة من المكتبات العامة في تلك القرى باسم خريجي مدرسة اليوبيل و ذلك بالتعاون مع مجموعة نايا للعمل التطوعي و مراكز الأميرة بسمة للعمل التطوعي في المحافظات المختلفة .

و يسر النادي أن يعلن أن المكتبة الأولى ستكون في منطقة وادي موسى في إقليم البتراء و ستكون مكتبة عامة يقوم التادي على إنشائها و تزويدها بالكتب المتنوعة و المختلفة يالتعاون مع دور النشر و بجهد التيرع الشخصي بالكتب الشخصية المختلفة حيث أن المكتبة ستكون موجهة لطلبة المدارس و الجامعات على الخصوص و أهل وادي موسى على العموم .

إن هذا المشروع يأتي ضمن اهتمام أسرة خريجي المدرسة بخدمة المجتمع المحلي بطريقة منهجية و هادفة بعيدا عن الحملات الإعلانية و بمشاريع تؤسس لفائدة عامة حيث ستكون هذه المكتبة هي الأولى في سلسلة من المكتبات التي يسعى النادي لتأسيسها.

على الراغبين في المساعدة في تزويد هذه المكتبة بالكتب و التبرع لهذا المشروع الاتصال بأمين سر النادي علي الدباس ، كما يحتاج المشروع الى متطوعين لتصنيف الكتب و ترقيمها ، كما يحتاج الى متطوعين للمساعدة في أعمال تأسيس المكتبة و افتتاحها و تأثيثها .

نتائج الفوج الثاني عشر في شتوية التوجيهي

أعلنت وزارة التربية و التعليم صباح اليوم نتائج الدورة الشتوية لامتحان شهادة الدراسة الثانوية العامة ، و قد قام الزميل ليث الكردي – عضو النادي باستخلاص نتائج المدرسة مشكورا و التي جاءت أقل من حيث معدل علامات الطلبة من الأعوام العشرة الماضية ، حيث بلغ معدل علامات طلبة الفوج الثاني عشر في الدورة الشتوية 90.3 %،

هذا و قد بلغ معدل علامات الطلاب الذكور 91.8 % و الاناث 88.9 % ، فيما حصل 15.2 % من الطالبات على معدل 95 فما فوق ، يناظرهن ما نسبه 18.4 % من الذكور حصلوا على نفس المعدل، لترتفع النسبة الاجمالية للطلبة الحاصلين على 95 فما فوق الى 16.3 % .

و من الجدير ذكره أن 52.6 % من طلبة الفوج حصلوا على معدل 90 % فما فوق.

مع الشكر للزميل ليث الكردي على استخلاص نتائج الطلبة بأسرع وقت ممكن .

لقاء بين الخريجين و طلبة المدرسة

بالتعاون مع نادي خريجي مدرسة اليوبيل ، ينظم قسم الارشاد و شؤون الطلبة في المدرسة لقاء بين عدد من الخريجين و طلبة الصف الحادي عشر للحديث عن دور اليوبيل في حياتهم و دراستهم الجامعية .

تلقى أمين سر النادي في ساعة متأخرة من ليلة أمس دعوة لثلاثة أشخاص لحضور مؤتمر الشباب العالمي الذي سيقام في شرم الشيخ في الفترة من 1 الى 3 ألول برعاية مؤسسة سوزان مبارك للشباب و بدعم من برنامج الأممالمتحدة الانمائي ، و حسب ما تنص علي الدعوة المبينة أدناه فيحق للنادي ترشيح ثلاثة مشاركين بموعد أقصاه يوم غد الأربعاء 1 / 8 / 2007 .

Greetings and hope this e-mail finds you well.

Our programme, UNDP-POGAR, which is a regional programme of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP): the UNDP Programme on Governance in the Arab Region (POGAR) based in Beirut – Lebanon, is sponsoring one of the parallel sessions -- one of 10 sessions organized under 5 different themes -- taking place during the International Youth Forum that will be held from 1 till 3 September 2007 in Sharm El-Sheikh”, and is entitled “Youth Speak – We Listen, Voices for Peace”.

The Youth Forum is organized by “The Suzanne Mubarak Women’s International Peace Movement”. The purpose of the Forum is to provide a platform for around 700 young people from all over the world to express their views and aspirations. Youth groups, committed to building and promoting a culture of peace, will have the opportunity to exchange experiences and best practices in ways and means to consolidate their efforts to best service their respective communities and societies.

The Session that UNDP-POGAR is organizing during the Forum will focus on youth civic engagement and enabling environment for political participation.

UNDP-POGAR started identifying the list of participants, and as mentioned in the below e-mail, Ms. Raeda Tamimi ZAWATI, stated that you would be of great assistance in helping us identify some Jordanian Youth to participate at the Forum, noting that the maximum age of participants is up to 25 years old. Therefore, it would be much appreciated if you could kindly send us the CV of the candidate along with a filled registration form and a photo (attached) to Ms. Lina Ghoussoub (lina.ghoussoub@undp.org) and myself (nathalie.tawil@undp.org) before 1 August 2007.

Kindly be informed that the final selection of the candidates who will participate will be done by the organizing party.

UNDP-POGAR will sponsor the participation of 20 youth from various countries in the Arab region and is of course covering their travel and accommodation.

Arab Youth – Citizens of the future

The Arab Human Development Report of 2004 urged governments to provide young people with the necessary political space in the public arena, especially in relation to issues of education, employment and personal freedom, to actively participate in the shaping of their present and future lives. As a first step, according to the Report, Arab countries should ratify the 15 major international legal instruments (Conventions) adopted by intergovernmental bodies of the United Nations system relating to the human rights of youth. The report maintained that most Arab countries have ratified less than seven of these conventions, including Bahrain, Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen. To date, Oman, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates, have not ratified any of them.

The Arab Human Development of 2004 Report also highlights the fact that many Arab civil society organizations have contributed to disempowering youth as a result of their own undemocratic nature. As a consequence, Arab youth are deprived from any opportunity to express their perspectives on policies and programs that affect their lives.

At the regional level, Arab leaders have committed themselves to supporting the needs and concerns of young people by “consolidating comprehensive development programs and intensifying efforts aimed at promoting educational systems, at disseminating knowledge and encouraging its acquisition, and at fighting illiteracy in order to ensure a better future for the Arab young generations.” (League of Arab States Tunis Declaration).

Despite the various initiatives, youth remain a largely marginalized group within Arab societies. This is particularly reflected in the lack of their inclusion in the various initiatives of Arab governments to address their needs and concerns and in their involvement in the formulation and implementation of policies that affect them.

Furthermore, although the majority of Arab states have formulated youth policies, these fall short of addressing the real needs and concerns of young people. Generally, Arab policy makers have made only limited effort to involve young people in issues, policy decisions and their implementation. Civil society organizations have also not been adequately involved in overseeing the formulation and implementation of youth policies. In brief, there are few efforts in the Arab countries which would encourage young people to contribute actively and creatively to the policies that affect their lives.

For young people to be heard, they need constructive channels for communication with decision-makers at all levels. At the local level, youth could be involved in the establishment of youth parliaments or other similar instruments. At a national level youth could influence policies through various modes of consultation and participation. The resulting civic engagement and participation of youth in political life are the prerequisites

for a strong sense of citizenship and the creation of increased space for democratic practices in the Arab region.

The following two sessions are dedicated to assessing avenues for the participation of youth in political life and civil society. Their aim is to provide an overview of existing frameworks, structures and mechanisms that promote youth participation, identify challenges and good practices in this sector and ways of promoting these.

The ultimate objective of the two sessions is to create the foundation for a regional network for youth representation with the aim to consolidate best practice and to expand them in the Arab region. This network would make special efforts to include disadvantaged and marginalized young people and those who live in a conflict zone.

I. Youth participating in the public sphere

Youth make up a substantial percentage of Arab citizens. Yet, they remain marginalized in being heard, in getting involved in influencing, formulating and evaluating policies that affect them. In addition, their participation in the formal avenues of participation, such as in elections, remains limited.

As the main stakeholders for policies affecting them, an active participation of youth in decision-making structures, mechanisms, and institutions is therefore essential. Active participation of youth forms an essential component of exercising rights and obligations as citizens.

Potential forms of youth participation are various and range from youth councils, youth parliaments and youth hearings. New forms of participation have also been created by, for example, the Council of Europe. The latter has promoted ‘co-management’ as a unique structure, where youth representatives decide, on an equal footing with the governments, on priorities, budgets as well as on the implementation of the priorities.

The issues that will be addressed during this session are means, mechanisms and institutions young people have at their disposal to participate in the formulation and implementation of policies. The session is also dedicated to assessing current challenges that undermine the participation of youth and the means and mechanisms available to overcome obstacles youth face in contributing to policy formulation and in participating in decision-making structures.

The issues that shall be addressed are as follows:

Ø Existing and emerging institutions and mechanisms of youth participation

What are the forms of established and emerging forms of youth participation at the national and local levels? Are there youth parliaments, youth councils, youth hearings etc.?
Are existing cases of institutions or mechanisms, in which youth are represented, connected to the formal decision-making structures or do they constitute structures that are parallel to the existing ones?
What is the nature of these institutions in terms of accountability and representativeness? Do they reflect and represent the diversity of youth? Are women and minorities adequately represented? Do they only represent youth already involved in civil society organizations?
Do governments involve these institutions in the formal political structures? Are youth for example involved in parliamentary discussions that focus on legislation important to them? Is there a parliamentary committee on youth policies?
Is there an ombudsman for young people?
What is the level of youth representation in parties? Do existing parties have youth wings? What is the legal framework that regulates the participation of youth in political parties?
Are the existing frameworks in general adequate to promote the participation of youth or should they be changed? Are there frameworks and mechanisms to ensure effective participation of both male and female young people?
Are existing institutions for youth participation independent of political powers?

Ø Means of youth participation

What are the instruments available for the participation and consultation of youth by government? Do governments cooperate and consult with youth? Are there modes of direct consultation through participation of youth in policy decisions and implementation? Are results of consultation translated into political decisions?
What is the nature of youth participation? Are young people consulted with in relation to policies affecting them? Do they actively participate in the formulation of such policies?
What are the political areas in which youth are given a voice? What is the extent of youth consultation and at which stage of the political process?
Is there a legal framework that regulates consultation and participation of youth in the formulation of youth and other policies and in the decision-making process?
Are youth participating in the formal decision-making processes? Do youth have access to decision-making and legislative authorities?
Are existing institutional and legal frameworks supportive of this process?
What are the obstacles to participation of youth? Are they of a social, cultural, physical, psychological etc. nature?

Ø Youth policies

Is there a national strategy and a national agency responsible for youth issues and youth policy development? Does the national youth strategy address the real needs of youth?
How are youth policies formulated? Is youth involved in this process? Is the diversity of political visions among youth taken into account? What are the issues youth policies cover? Are youth policies coherent and cross-sectoral, i.e. working with other government departments and agencies?
Are youth policies based on information and accurate needs assessment of youth? Are young people informed about youth policies in an open way, in which they would understand the policies they concern them?
Are sufficient resources allocated for the implementation of the national youth policy?
Is there an assessment of the impact of youth policies?
Are there any partnerships between concerned parties, such as youth networks that would promote a youth policy on the national level?
Are there any initiatives to increase the participation of young people?
Is there a specific policy to address youth in Arab countries currently facing a conflict or those that emerged from a conflict? Are there any efforts of rehabilitation and reintegration of youth in those countries, in order to include youth in the social, economic and political reconstruction of the country? Have youth been involved in post conflict restructuring or peace talks and negotiation?
Are there any national monitoring institutions or an observatory that documents and disseminates youth-related information and that evaluates the impact of youth policies on the lives of youth?
Are existing institutions involved in national policy decision-making and formulation in relation to all issues that concern young people (in line for example with the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child or the European Charter on Active Participation of Young People in Local and Regional Life)?

Ø Participation of youth in elections

Generally there has been a trend of declining participation of youth in representative politics and in participating in elections.

What is the level of youth participation in elections (parliamentary, local and presidential)?
What is the legal framework that regulates the right to vote, in relation to for example voting age and eligibility in general?
What are the obstacles youth face in participating in the formal election process?

Ø Youth and the gender dimension

During the transition from childhood to adulthood aspirations of young men and women as well as the expectations of society begin to diverge. For young males this implies an expansion of their world whereas for young females the world would increasingly contract.

What are the impediments for the participation of young women?
Is there appropriate legislation that would increase opportunities for women’s participation?

II. The involvement of young people in civil society

Civil society organizations can play a crucial role in promoting civic engagement of youth and in encouraging active youth participation at the local and national levels. By promoting civic participation of youth, civil society organizations lay the foundation for future democratic development.

Civil society organizations can provide the structures that promote the participation of youth. They can further be an active agent in promoting new agendas and concepts for development and to challenge and affect existing ones. However, while a considerable number of civil society organizations have taken up issues relevant to youth, their impact has been limited.

This session is dedicated to assessing those civil society organizations that have played a role in promoting a youth agenda, to highlight the impediments that have undermined the effect of their work and to identify cases of best practice. The assessment will also involve the participation of youth in civil society organizations, including the media.

In particular the following issues will be addressed and assessed:

Ø Civil society organizations active in the youth sector

What is the nature of youth involvement in civil society organizations?
What are the legal frameworks in the Arab countries that regulate the participation of youth in civil society organizations? Are they supportive of youth participation?
To which extent are civil society organizations representative of youth? Are young people adequately represented? Are women and minorities adequately involved and represented in the civil society organizations active in the youth sector?
How can youth participation in civil society organizations be promoted?

Ø Youth agenda of civil society organizations

What is the nature of the so-called youth agenda promoted by civil society organizations? What are the issues included and do they address the real needs of youth?
Are civil society organizations contributing to the public debate on the participation of youth? Have civil society organizations adopted an advocacy strategy to promote the participation of youth at the local and national level?

Ø Youth civil society organizations and national youth policies

Given that civil society organizations can potentially influence the formulation and implementation of youth policies, to what extent do these civil society organizations provide a link to existing formal political structures?
Do civil society organizations encourage the coordination of activities among themselves and collaborate with government, encourage young men and women to engage in voluntary activities and to join civil society organizations?

Ø Youth participation in the media

Media can play an important role in promoting the agenda of young people. As such it provides a space for young people to bring in their perspective, make their needs heard, challenge majority views, hold political decision-makers accountable, and suggest original ideas on issues of public concern. Youth involvement in the media can span a wide range of activities – from learning technical production to writing, and reporting skills and developing media content. The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) and other key documents have highlighted the participation of youth in the media as a key objective to promoting their participation in public life. .

This session is dedicated to exploring and assessing the following issues:

Are there any specific youth-led media and media programs?
Is the media specifically targeting youth concerns, needs, and policies? What is the content of media programs? Is it relevant to young people?
Is the information qualitatively valuable for young people?
Is youth active in the formulation of such media?
Do media promote the active sharing of information regarding youth?
Are ther any media that promote the participation of youth in the Arab media to discuss their concerns and general societal problems?
Are the media trained to cover issues important to youth?
What are the ways in which youth can participate in the media and develop from passive consumers to active participants?

مبروك نتائج الثانوية العامة للمدرسة

يتقدم أعضاء نادي خريجي مدرسة اليوبيل بالتهنئة الى طلبة الفوج الحادي عشر الذين أدخلوا الفرحة على قلوب خريجي المدرسة جميعا من خلال نتائجهم في امتحان الثانوية العامة و التي جاءت طيبة للغاية بالنسبة لطلبة مدرسة اليوبيل.

هذا و قد بلغ أعلى معدل ( 98.2%) حصل عليه الطالب وائل طوقان فيما حصل 41 % من الطلبة على معدل 95 فما فوق فيما لم تزد نسبة الذين تقل علاماتهم عن 90 عن عشرين في المئة من الطلبة 18 % منهم حصلوا على معدل فوق الثمانين بحسب الاحصائيات الخاصة بنادي خريجي اليوبيل.

و النادي إذ يبارك للطلبة فإنه يتقدم بالشكر الى المعلمين و المعلمات الذين ساهموا في ترسيخ النجاح اليوبيلي بنسبة 100 % ، و بمعدل عام للطلبة بلغ 92.8 % .

مع نهاية يوم الجمعة الماضي الموافق 20 تموز ، اختتم النادي حزمة رعايته للنشاطات اللامنهجية لطلبة مدرسة اليوبيل للعام الدراسي المنتهي 2006-2007 ، و ذلك انسجاما مع أهداف النادي في رعاية و دعم نشاطات الطلبة التي تنسجم مع فلسفة مدرسة اليوبيل و استراتيجية النادي في دعم المدرسة و برامجها ، حيث قام النادي بتقديم الدعم المادي و اللوجستي و الرعاية لخمسة نشاطات رئيسية شارك فيها 300 طالب و طالبة من اليوبيل على مدار العام بالاضافة الى 100 طالب من خارج المدرسة و هذه النشاطات هي مشروع نموذج الأمم المتحدة ، ملتقى اليوبيل السابع للشباب ، مشروع اليوم العلمي ، مشروع مخيم الانتماء لليوبيل و أخيرا مشروع المحكمة البيئية.

عقد نموذج الأمم المتحدة في شهر كانون أول الماضي و شارك فيه 100 طالب و طالبة من المدرسة حيث ساهم المشروع في إثراء الفكر القيادي و مهارات الاتصال لدى طلبة المدرسة من خلال عقدهم لجلسات مماثلة لجلسات الجمعية العامة للامم المتحدة لمدة يومين متتاليين ، كما ساهم في ترسيخ روح البحث العلمي حيث كان من واجبات الطلبة أن يقوموا بدراسة مواقف الدول الأعضاء التي عليهم أن يقوموا بتمثيلها في اجتماعات الأمم المتحدة.

أما في ملتقى اليوبيل للشباب ، فقد ناقش المجتمعون سبعة محاور تعنى بالشباب و الهوية الوطنية و الاعلام و التربية الدينية و المراهقة ، و شارك في هذا النشاط الذي عقد في أيار الماضي 100 من طلبة الصف العاشر في اليوبيل بالاضافة الى 50 آخرين من مختلف المدارس الحكومية و الخاصة . وقد خلص الى قرارات شبابية و صفها معالي د. نبيل الشريف في الجلسة الختامية للملتقى بأنها تصلح لان تكون (( ميثاقا وطنيا للشباب )) .

و في أيار أيضا ، قام النادي بتوفير الدعم اللازم لإنجاح مشروع مجلس طلبة مدرسة اليوبيل في إقامة مخيم الانتماء لليوبيل و الذي قام الطلبة خلاله بإمضاء سحابة يومين كاملين مع ليلة سمر تم خلالهما القيام بتنفيذ نشاطات خدمية في المدرسة من دهان و رسم أرضيات الملاعب و تنظيف المدرسة و صيانة المرافق و زراعة الحدائق بمشاركة 80 طالبا و طالبة من المدرسة .

و في نهاية العام الدراسي رعى النادي نشاط اليوم العلمي في المدرسة والذي تم خلاله عرض مشاريع تخرج الطلبة المتخصصة في دائرة
العلوم ، و التي يسعى النادي بقوة الى دعم نشاطاتها و إعادة الروح الى مختبراتها العملية ، حيث يفكر النادي في تخصيص جائزة لأفضل مشروع علمي للطلاب و ذلك في مسعى لتفعيل استخدام المختبرات.

أما في شهر تموز الجاري فقد كان النادي شريكا لوجستيا في مشروع المحكمة البيئية التي عقدها طلبة اليوبيل بالتعاون مع الجمعية الملكية لحماية البييئة البحرية و بدعم من وزارة البيئة ، حيث أكد وزير البيئة خالد الايراني على أهمية المشروع في زيادة الوعي البيئي بين طلبة المدارس و في الموازنة بين الاستثمار و حماية البيئة حيث ناقش المجتمعون على مدار يومين الاثار البيئية و الاقتصادية لمشروع دبي كابيتال في دبين ، و ذلك بعد أن تلقوا التدريب المناسب.

إن هذه النشاطات المختلفة هي نتاج جهد مستمر للنادي في متابعة نشاطات الطلبة و دعمها و البحث عن مصادر لتمويلها ، و ذلك سعيا للمحافظة على تميز طلبة اليوبيل في مجال القيادة و النشاطات اللامنهجية التي تساهم في تنمية شخصيات الطلبة .

و النادي إذ يتقدم من أهـــلـــه و ذويه و زملائه في الفوج بأصدق مشاعر العزاء فإنه يدعو للأخ عامر بالرحمة و المغفرة بإذنه تعالى و يدعو الخريجين من جميع الأفواج للمشاركة في عزائه لأن المصاب مصابنا جميعا .

يسر نادي خريجي مدرسة اليوبيل أن يعلن أن الزميلة مروة دعنا خريجة الفوج الثاني قد تم الافراج عنها ليلة أمس دون توجيه أي تهم لها.

إن هذا الافراج يأتي مطابقا لقناعة خريجي المدرسة ببعد الشبهات التي كانت تحوم حول محمد العشة و مروة دعنا ، و اللذين عرفهما الفوج الثاني و معلميهم و أصدقائهم ، و الذين أكدوا جميعا أن الزميلين يحملان من القيم الانسانية الجميلة ما يمنعهما من القيام بمثل هذه التصرفت الغير مقبولة.

مشروع الدورات الاختيارية لطلبة المدرسة

قررت الهيئة الإدارية للنادي تعديل التعليمات المتعلقة باستخدام المجمع الرياضي للمدرسة أيام الجمعة من كل أسبوع كالتالي

يعتبر الانتفاع من النشاط الرياضي يوم الجمعة من كل أسبوع مجانيا لأعضاء النادي و عائلاتهم و لخريجي اليوبيل كافة.

من أجل الاستخدام الأمثل للمجمع الرياضي و توزيع ساعات استخدامه المتاحة بعدالة بين الخريجين ، يتم اعتماد الحجز المسبق عن طريق الزميلين أيمن السعودي أو مالك صوان عضوي الهيئة الإدارية و لجنة النشاط الرياضي في النادي.

آخر موعد للحجز هو الساعة الرابعة عصرا من يوم الأربعاء من كل أسبوع.
تعطى أولوية الانتفاع لأعضاء النادي المسجلين.

ستقوم لجنة النشاطات الرياضية بتنظيم بطولات مفتوحة في مختلف الألعاب للخريجين و الخريجات يعلن عنها في حينه حيث
.يتم استخدام مرافق المجمع التالية (( الصالة الرياضية ، الإسكواش ، كرة الطاولة ، الملعب الخارجي )) و سيتم مخاطبة المدرسة بخصوص استخدام المسبح و صالة اللياقة البدنية ، وسيتم إعلامكم في حال الحصول على الموافقة.

اجتماع اللجنة الفنية للموقع الالكتروني

لاحقا لإعلانها خلال الأسبوع الماضي حول مشروع الموقع الالكتروني للنادي ، قررت الهيئة الإدارية المضي قدما في تشكيل لجنة فنية من أصحاب الخبرة و الكفاءة في هذا المجال من خريجي اليوبيل لدراسة حاجات الموقع الالكتروني للنادي و مواصفاته و طرق تنفيذه و الإشراف على النواحي التقنية للمشروع و متابعة تنفيذه ،،

و عليه يسر أمين سر النادي دعوة الراغبين في المشاركة في أعمال اللجنة إلى اجتماع يعقد في تمام الساعة السابعة من مساء يوم الثلاثاء الموافق 6/3/2007 و ذلك في مقر النادي داخل حرم المدرسة في شفا بدران.

اجتماع ناجح للهيئة العامة للنادي

عقدت الهيئة العامة لنادي خريجي مدرسة اليوبيل ، اجتماعها العادي يوم الجمعة الموافق 2 شباط 2007 بحضور مندوب معالي وزير الداخلية حسب النظام الداخلي للنادي ، حيث قام نائب ؤئيس الهيئة الادارية م. وائل عتيلي بترؤس الاجتماع بالوكالة .

وفي بداية الاجتماع قام عتيلي بالترحيب بالأعضاء المشاركين ، و تأكيد أن العمل الذي قامت به الهيئة الادارية جهد كبير في مجال تأسيس النادي و تثبيت دعائمه ، كما وجه الشكر لأعضاء الهيئة الادارية المنتهية ولايتها على ما قاموا به من جهود خلال العامين الماضيين .

ثم قام أمين السر علي الدباس باستعراض التقرير السنوي للنادي بشقيه المالي و الاداري ، حيث أبدى الأعضاء ملاحظاتهم عليه من حيث التواصل مع الاعضاء و طرق التبليغ و طريقة استقطاب الاعضاء الجدد ، لتصادق الهيئة العامة بنصابها القانوني على التقرير.

بعد ذلك أعلن رئيس الاجتماع نتائج انتخابات الهيئة الادارية الجديدة و التي ضمنت في عضويتها حسب الترتيب الأبجدي كل من :

ثم دعا رئيس الاجتماع الزميل د.شادن جراردات – عضو الهيئة العامة من خريحي الفوج الأول – الى تقديم مداخلته التي سجلها على حدول الأعمال حول أعادة تجميع الفوج الاول في الصيف القادم حيث بين الزميل أنه و بالعاون مع بعض خريجي الفوج الاول يقوم بالترتيب لتصور معين يقدم للنادي حول تفاصيل تلك المناسبة ، حيث بين الرغبة الاكيدة في ان يكون هذا النشاط تحت مظلة النادي .

و بعد نقاش في هذا الموضوع ، قدم د. عمار كساب – عضو النادي من خريجي الفوج الخامس – مداخبته حول تأسيس شبكة استشارات طبية من خريجي الكليات الطبية من خريجي اليوبيل ، حيث ناقشت الهيئة العامة هذا الاقتراج داعية الى بلورته كمشروع له فرصة طيبة للنجاح.

تحية طيبة و بعد فيسرني أن أبعث لكم بصادق التحيات و أخلص الامنيات بالنيابة عن أعضاء الهيئة الادارية لنادي خريجي مدرسة اليوبيل. مع تمنيانتا لكم بأن يكون عام 2007 عام خير لكم جميعا و لمسيرة النادي .

إن انتهاء العام 2006 هو استحقاق لإجراء انتخابات الهيئة الادارية للنادي و التي أكملت مدتها القانونية المنصوص عليها بالنظام الداخلي ، وعليه فإنه يسرني أن أدعوكم لحضور إجتماع الهيئة العامة العادي الثالث ، و ذلك يوم الجمعة الموافق للثاني من شباط 2007 في تمام الساعة الواحدة والنصف لمناقشة البنود الواردة أدناه حسب النظام الداخلي للنادي :

Charity Basketball Game for supporting Lebanon

Dear Jubilee Alumni Members,

Jordan Basketball Federation is organizing a charity game in which All Arab-stars including Jordanian National Team champions and Saudi, Syrian and Egyptian national stars will be playing against Lebanon Men's National Basketball team.

The game will take place Tomorrow Tuesday at 7:00 PM in Prince Hamzah Colesuim(hall) in the Sports City, in Amman.All tickets' proceeds will go to support the Lebanese National Team to leverage their representation of Lebanon in the Basketball World Cup that is to start in August 19th.

Come enjoy the game and support Lebanon make it to the international scene and prove to the world the nation's steadfastness and power of will.

يسر نادي خريجي اليوبيل أن يعلن لطلبة الفوج العاشر المتخرجين من المدرسة هذا العام ، عن اطلاق برنامج الارشاد الجامعي في النادي ، وذلك لمساعدة الطلبة على ملئ طلبات الالتحاق بالجامعات و تحديد خياراتهم و التخصصات التي تسمح معدلاتهم بتوفير مقاعد لهم في هذه التخصصات و الجامعات ، بالاضافة الى تقديم شروحات حول التخصصات المختلفة و ذلك بالتعاون مع لجنة تنسيق القبول الموحد في مجلس التعليم العالي .

أعلن وزير التربية و التعليم د.خالد طوقان نتائج الثانوية العامة رسميا في مؤتمر صحفي عقده اليوم في عمان.
حيث بينت التنائج أن نسبة النجاح للفرع العلمي بلغت 72 %.

و عطفا على الاحصاءات التي قمنا بنشرها ليلة أمس ، فإن قائمة أوائل الثانوية العامة قد خلت من أسماء أي من طلبة اليوبيل ، الا أن المدرسة حصلت على المركز الأول في الترتيب العام للمدارس الثانوية للعام 2006 ، و للعام العاشر على التوالي للبنين و البنات ، بنسبة نجاح 100 % و بمعدل عام 91.6 علما أن وسيط علامات طلبة اليوبيل هو 92.4 %.
هذا و نضيف الرسم البياني أدناه للرسوم التي تم نشرها ليلة أمس و الذي يبين التوزيع الكامل لعلامات طلبة المدرسة مدورة لأقرب عدد صحيح.

Tawjeehi Results of 2006 was announced on Friday Afternoon. The results of Jubilee School class of 2006 sounds good with an average of 91.6 % (*). The Highest Score is credited for Miss. Hadeel Qudah with an average of 97%,where The lowest score is 79.6%. The charts below show the distribution of the Tawjeehi results of Jubilee By Range and By Gender.

It is not known " Yet " if any of the Jubilee Students is ranked in the first 10 students across the country. But for sure Jubilee rank is the 1st for the 10th year again where all the 85 students have passed the tawjeehi with the average of 91.6%.

يسر نادي خريجي اليوبيل أن يعلن عن توصله لاتفاق مع المدرسة حول استخدام مرافق المجمع الرياضي يوم الجمعة من كل أسبوع .

الاتفاق الجديد يتيح لأعضاء النادي استخدام الصالة الرياضية في المدرسة و ملعب السكواش و الملعب الخارجي و كرة الطاولة بدون مقابل في كل بوم جمعة من الساعة الثانية ظهرا و حتى السادسة مساء .

ينعقد يوم السبت القادم الموافق 11 من الشهر الجاري اجتماع الهيئة العامة السنوي العادي الأول. حيث تم توجيه رقاع الدعوة لحضور الاجتماع على الزملاء و الزميلات أعضاء النادي .

و يعتبر هذا الاجتماع الاول من نوعه منذ تأسيس النادي ، و هو دليل على نجاح و استمرارية مسيرة إعادة تفعيل النادي التي انطلقت قبل عام و نصف و أعلنت رسميا في اجتماع الهيئة العامة الغير العادي الذي عقد في كانون الاول 2004 و الذي تم خلاله انتخاب هيئة ادارية جديدة للنادي .

و سيناقش الاجتماع الذي سيتم عقده في مقر المدرسة الساعة الخامسة مساء عدة أمور أدرجتها الهيئة الادارية على جدول الأعمال و هي :

مناقشة التقرير السنوي عن العام 2005 .

هذا و يحتوي التقرير الاداري للنادي و الذي سيوزع على الأعضاء خلال الاجتماع على تفصيل للنشاطات التي قامت الهيئة الادارية بتنظيمها خلال العام الماضي كما يبين التقرير المالي بدقة ايرادات و مصروفات النادي خلال العام 2005 .

انعقاد الاجتماع التنسيقي الأول لمجالس الطلبة في اليوبيل

عقد في مدرسة اليوبيل للموهوبين و المتفوقين التابعة لمؤسسة الملك الحسين الاجتماع الأول لمجالس طلبة المدارس الذي دعا اليه مجلس طلبة مدرسة اليوبيل، حيث افتتحت السيدة عبلة زريقات مديرة مدرسة اليوبيل الاجتماع ليناقش أعضاء مجالس الطلبة في عدد من المدارس التي لبت الدعوة للاجتماع سبل تنسيق نشاطاتها في المدارس المختلفة للوصول الى مشاريع مشتركة على مستوى المدارس المشاركة في الاجتماع و الأخرى التي قد تنضم لاحقا .

رئيس مجلس طلبة مدرسة اليوبيل ليث العبادي أكد على أهمية الاجتماع الذي يعتبر الأول من نوعه و الذي يهدف الى إيجاد مشاريع مشتركة تهدف الى ربط نشاطات طلبة المملكة في المدارس الخاصة و الحكومية و في كافة أنحاء المملكة في حال نجاح هذه التجربة .

و استعرض الطلبة المشاركين في الاجتماع و الذين يمثلون مجالس الطلبة المنتخبين في مدارس النظم التربوية و الاتحاد و الانجليزية الحديثة و عمان الوطنية و المنهل ، و الكلية العلمية الاسلامية ، و المدارس الاهلية للبنات و المشرق و المعمدانية و المعارف بالإضافة الى صاحب الفكرة مجلس طلبة مدرسة اليوبيل تجاربهم المختلفة في طريقة و الية الانتخاب ، كما تناقشوا في عدة مقترحات تقدمت بها المدارس ليتم تنفيذها بطريقة مشتركة .

الطالبة سجى أبو حسان من مدرسة اليوبيل بينت أن هذا الاجتماع هو دليل على تطور دور مجالس الطلبة في مدارس المملكة من هيئات شكلية الى مجالس فاعلة و قادرة على التواصل فيما بينها و التعاون مع المدارس الأخرى ، و أكدت أن الاجتماع شكل فرصة جيدة لالتقاء طلبة المدارس ضمن إطار يسمح بتنسيق الجهود بين المدارس لتنفيذ مشاريع مشتركة ، حيث اتفق المجتمعون على اليات لتنفيذ المشاريع و متابعتها و الاجتماع بشكل دوري . و أوضحت أن الاجتماع الذي دعى اليه مجلس طلبة اليوبيل كان ناجحا و مفيدا لتبادل الاراء و الخبرات .

الطالب عمر أبو غزالة من مجلس طلبة المدرسة المعمدانية بين أن أحد المشاريع التي تم الاتفاق على تنفيذها هي رسم جدارية فنية مشتركة لطلبة المدارس التي يمثلها الطلاب ، بحيث تعبر هذه الجدارية عن مشاعر الطلبة بعيد التفجير الارهابي الذي استهدف عمان ، لتخليد ذكرى ضحايا الحادث بطريقة تعبر عن تعاطف طلبة المدارس مع ذويهم .

و بينت الطالبة راما من مدرسة عمان الوطنية أن من المشاريع الهامة التي تم طرحها خلال الاجتماع هو تنفيذ مشاريع تساهم في نشر ثقافة الحفاظ على البيئة من خلال نشاطات يقوم بها طلبة المدارس المشاركة على أن يتولى مجالس الطلبة فيها مسؤولية التنسيق لهذا العمل المشترك .

وفي نهاية الاجتماع اتفق المجتمعين على تنفيذ عدد من البرامج في مدارسهم منها تخصيص أيام و حصص دراسية لمناقشة عدد من القضايا التي تهم الطلبة بالاضافة الى تنفيذ عروض للمهارات الابداعية التي يتمتع بها الطلبة و تطوير هذه المهارات ، كما اتفقوا على تنفيذ برامج لخدمة المجتمع موجه للمدارس الاقل حظا ضمن جهد تطوعي يقوم به طلبة المدارس الأخرى ، و رسم جدارية مشتركة في أحد شوارع العاصمة الرئيسية للمساهمة في ابراز الشكل الجمالي لعمان ، و لمنح الفرصة للطلبة الشباب لاطلاق العنان لابداعهم و التعبير عن مشاعرهم بطريقة حضارية و ذلك بعد التنسيق مع أمانة عمان .

وفاء من أعضاء نادي خريجي اليوبيل لذكرى الحسين رحمه الله و جعل الجنة مثواه ، و إيمانا بأن الراحل الكبير كان يعشق ترجمة الانتماء الى العطاء ، و يعتمد العمل الجاد في خدمة الوطن معيارا للولاء ، ينظم نادي خريجي مدرسة اليوبيل برنامجا لخدمة المجتمع وفاء لروح الراحل الكبير و ذلك ضمن أسبوع الوفاء للحسين الذي يقام في المدرسة بمناسبة ذكرى ميلاد الراحل الكبير.

النشاط الذي سيقام يومي الجمعة و السبت 9-10/12/2005 في قرى الأطفال - طارق ، و جمعية رعاية اليتيم ( بيادر وادي السير ) و جمعية العناية بمرضى الشلل الدماغي ، يهدف الى تقديم خدمات نوعية الى هذه المؤسسات حسب طلب كل منها بجهد تطوعي مشترك من خريجي اليوبيل و طلابها تحت مظلة النادي .

Jubilee Alumni is pleasured to announce the annual Ramadan event " Ramadan Iftar for Jubilee graduates " which will take part on Thursday 20/10/2005 at Jubilee School.

the attendance of the iftar will be free for he Members of the Alumni only . Other Jubilee graduates who are not a member yet have to buy a ticket for this iftar , the ticket price is JD 3.5 .

Jubilee in the Street

On September 24, 2005, the idea that was brought over a drink in Wild Jordan has become a reality! Jubilee in the Street has started with the sponsorship of Greater Amman Municipality and Mr. Abdulrahim Bqa'ei (Deputy Mayor of Amman) declared the opening of this cultural, all young event.

The Opening was great, having Jordanian Artists present, evaluating and enjoying the efforts of young artists among whom were students of the Artists themselves. The Jubilee School was present, with its director general: Ms. Abla Zureikat, Fine Arts Teacher Ms. Sana' Madadha, who declared that she was the most proud person among the attendants, and the significant contribution of the jubilee students, who played music, sang and made the children and old women sign with them, and others who displayed their art works along with some who made direct painting and worked with clay (Salsal) live!!!

The main participants in the Event were: Rasha Hinnawi and Ahlam Idreis (photography), Haneen Shalash, Rashed Nas'a, Marwa Moghrabi, Sara Dreini and Huda arabani (paintings) and the Jubilee School students in paintings, music and clay works.

Mr. Bqa'i along with the GAM representatives was very impressed with this effort which made the event happen within 10 days, Mr. Bqa'i listened to presentations made by the participants, and had discussion with them about their works.

Unfortunately, Sara Dreini did not have the chance to do her presentation before GAM and our gusts, some thing that happened NOT as planned and NOT as expected, but I tell dear Sarah, that this event was made for the largest number of peple to see and enjoy, the mere fact that her works are being now displayed to any visitor or guest to the event is an achievement by itself, the event and the works were not made and displayed only for GAM to see, we know how much you just like us wanted your works to be presented to Mr. Bqa'i, but it seems that the setting (which was all arranged by GAM, being the sponsor) and the leading of the guest (which was also planned by GAM) lead to this sad fact for which we all feel sorry. However, we are proud of having the Works of Sara displayed in this street for more 5 days to go and we all thank Sara for the effort, she, her sister and Abdallah put in this event, and their contribution as beginners in arranging events is highly appreciated.

Finally, I would like to thank and thank and thank Wael Attili for brining the idea, Wael Attili is not the only who made the suggestion of this event, but also the one who contacted the participants, met with them, took them to the site to have them know and imagine their works displayed, designed the invitations, posters and announcement, hanged the works, made the biography cards of each participant and yes, was the man behind the scenes working hard with full heart and passion..Thank you Wa'el..Thank you very much.

I also thank Ali Dabbas and Laith abu Shahin for handling the logistics of materials, labels, and other follo up that needed patience and hard work..(I tell you Sara there were other people who really worked hard too!)..I thank Nabeel Abu Ata who made the connection with GAM at the first place that made them sponsor us and help us realize this event within a very short period of 10 days. I thank all the board members who were present, the guests who attended the event, our friends from the Jubilee, graduates and students, and our families and friends.

Thank you every body, and I call upon every body who can spare some time to go and enjoy the works of Jubilee students..in the Street!

Shark Tale, a very interesting movie, but was only one factor of the beauty of the second movie night!

The Jubilee Alumni held its second movie night on September 9, 2005 where Alumni members, a number of graduates, and their friends gathered to watch: Shark Tale. The event was a success, seeing this number of people socializing and mingling brought pleasure to my mind, and the beautiful memories always turn to be connected to the Jubilee and the Alumni continues in adding rings to the beautiful chain of memories.

I tell you guys, Shark Tale is highly recommended for those who haven't see it, and for this movie to be seen properly, I thank Ashraf Dabbas, Walid and Marwa Nas'a for working on the technicalities, Walid and Mahmoud As'ad who helped us in hanging the screen, Mohammed Dabbas who provided us with the catering, Mahmoud Yahia for checking the neatness of the place and that every thing is okay before and after the event, and most importantly, I thank the graduates who brought their families such as Pierr Shami and Ashraf Dabbas and also the guys and girls who attended, helped in arranging the place, moving the chairs, cleaning the place and who showed very cooperative and belonging manner, things that nurturers the heart.

More movie nights will take place..We promise! Threfore, if any one has in mind a movie, please do not hesitate to suggest.

Invitation to participate in an Art and Culture event

The Jubilee Alumni Club is thinking of organizing an ART and CULTURE event at Al Thaqafa st. at the end of September. The event will take place exactly on the gallery area and the surrounding place. The event is going to be a mix between crafts, artworks, photography, digital art and multimedia. Also free street music performance.

The Club organized a dinner at Bristol Hotel in Amman for the school’s newest batch of graduates after they have finished their “Tawjihi” successfully.

In attendance we had Mr. Sameeh Darwasih, Mrs. Abla Zriqat “school principal”, Tawjihi teachers, and some of the club’s board members and students. Dima Jweehan, alumni club president, welcomed the guests and congratulated the students. Ali Al-Dabbas delivered a concise presentation on the alumni club and its activities.

The Jubilee Alumni club presented Mr. Sameeh with an honorary membership to the club. Mr. Sameeh gave a speech to the gradates on how beautiful this country is and the importance of our role in coming back and building it. The dinner was sponsored by Fastlink and the Municipality of Greater Amman.

Outdoor movie night

More than 80 people rushed to the school to watch a screening of the movie Hitch at the Jubilee school. Organized by the club, the outdoor movie night was a blast, and everyone had fun. Free soft drinks and snacks were provided. Although a good portion of the attendants have already seen the movie, sharing it with old school friends was a different and pleasurable experience.

A group of the Jubilee Alumni and students have enjoyed an evening with Mr. Abdel Al-Elah Al-Khateeb. Mr. Al-Khateeb kindly shared some of his valuable experiences and knowledge. This event comes as part of a series of workshops organized by the club at the Jubilee school, aiming to improve skills and knowledge of its members and graduates. Around 25 students and alumni participated in this open discussion with Mr. Al-Khateeb on a variety of issues ranging from youth to politics and economic. The Alumni Club thanks Mr. Abdel Elah for the time he gave us and hopes to have the pleasure of hosting him again.
